چکیده
Nowadays, group communications over Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) have received significant attention. Multicasting plays an important role in simultaneous delivery of information to receivers. Thus, it is necessary design efficient and effective multicast routing protocol support communication applications. Several efforts been put improve routing. However, they do not consider scalability issue. This paper introduces a novel Scalable Geographic Multicast Routing Protocol (SGMRP). The main objective this lightweight scalable scheme irrespective the number members network size. To achieve this, virtual clustering strategy has introduced. based on partitioning into sectorial zones. proposed solution performs packet forwarding with reduced overhead. eliminates duplicate packets between clusters reduces participating nodes

Broadcast Routing in Wireless Ad-Hoc Networks: A Particle Swarm optimization Approach
While routing in multi-hop packet radio networks (static Ad-hoc wireless networks), it is crucial to minimize power consumption since nodes are powered by batteries of limited capacity and it is expensive to recharge the device. This paper studies the problem of broadcast routing in radio networks. Given a network with an identified source node, any broadcast routing is considered as a directed...
متن کاملA Survey on Multicast Routing Approaches in Wireless Mesh Networks
Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) which mediates the broadband Internet access, have been recently received many attentions by the researchers. In order to increase capacity in these networks, nodes are equipped with multiple radios tuned on multiple channels emerging multi radio multi-channel WMNs (MRMC WMNs). Therefore, a vital challenge that poses in MRMC WMNs is how to properly assign channels ...
متن کاملInteroperability of multicast routing protocols in wireless ad hoc networks
Although MANETs have typically been considered as isolated, stand-alone networks with no connection to the Internet, it is quite likely that future internetworks may interconnect numerous MANET clouds, each running different routing mechanisms. This could be primarily dictated by administrative constraints or different network functional and performance requirements and can result in scenarios ...

A wireless ad hoc network typically refers to any set of wireless networks where all devices have equal status on a network and are free to associate with any other wireless ad hoc network devices in their range. As the nature of these networks, they commonly do not have external power supplies, and each node has a limited internal power source. In this paper, we put forward a new routing proto...
